It is your responsibility to get to the tables to play. You have 3 minutes from the time the last pairings are posted to have the game started. If you need extra time between rounds private message the TD on duty and let them know. We will no longer private message you to get you to the tables, you will be deq'd from the tourney. Remember when you sign up for a partners tourney that you are agreeing to play all rounds with that partner. One person can not be removed from a team. In Swiss if you wish you be removed make sure you have discussed it with your partner and they agree.
Subs are allowed in partners events, Both players must start each round. After both players start, if someone gets booted, A sub maybe be used. The sub may only finish the rd that he/she is subing for. If the orignal player dosnt return for start of next round, you must,be removed. You may have a Sub in all rds, EXCEPT FINALS, NO EXCEPTIONS. The Zoo is down until at least Tuesday 10-28-08 Due to an equipment issue The Zoo will be down until at least Tuesday 10-28-08. The issue is known and the part has been ordered. Just with anything mechanical computers parts can break down without notice. Please be patient The zoo is working hard to correct the problem as soon as possible.
ATTENTION ALL PLAYERS AND MEMBERS OF THE APA (American Pinochle Association)
Every month we will be giving away 1 (one) entry fee for any APA sponsored tournament. Every 6 (six) months we will be giving away hotel accommodations for any APA sponsored tournament. Every 12 (twelve) months we will be giving away airfare, from anywhere within the mainland USA, to any APA sponsored tournament.
The highest score total at the end of 4 weeks will be the winner of the monthly prize. If this is a tie (team), the team or tied players can decide who will receive this prize award, or it will be decided by the tournament host with a coin flip. If more than one team is tied, the tied teams will play one 500 game to determine the winner, (date and time will be set by the APA and tournament host). This will also apply for the 6 month award and the 12 month award.
