We have added some new features to our shoutbox. You may now register your name, display avatars, and use box codes.

If you register your name only you can use it on the shoutbox. this will avoid posting inappropriate content under your name by someone else.

We will also have moderators that will remove any content deemed inappropriate, and they will have the authority to ban those that abuse the shoutbox.

To register a name, enter your name into the name field, then click the profile link on the bottom right of the shoutbox a popup window will appear asking for a password. enter the password and you are set.

To enter an avatar type in the url of the picture into the url/email field. (ex. http://www.4playerspinochle.com/photos/grannygems.jpg)

to use the box codes please click the help link and follow the instructions.

These new features are on a trial basis please let GrannyGems know if you like them and if enough people do we will keep them.

Remember Me Feature

We have added a "Remember Me!" feature to the registration page for tournaments. The new feature will allow members to save their login information so they can quickly register for tournaments.
A couple of tips on using the Remember Me feature:
1. Cookies must be enabled in order for the feature to save your login information. For Internet Explorer users, you may need to include igl.net and myleague.com as allowed sites within your cookie settings. You can add the sites by following these steps from within your browser: Tools -> Internet Options -> Privacy tab -> Sites. From there, simply type in each web address individually (http://www.igl.net and http://www.myleague.com). Be sure to choose "Allow" after you enter each one.
2. If at anytime you uncheck the Remember Me box, the dots in the password field will not be your actual password, so you will need to delete them and re-enter your password.

New Sub Rules

In partners tournaments, subs can be used. Subs may be used to replace a human, once the human has been timed out. SUB may be used in the final round on the table going for tournament win. IF the sub played the majority of the rounds with one team. All victories that a player (WHO IS A NO SHOW) receives will be removed from his/her record. This will be done by the TD telling a member of ADMIN who the player is and number of wins to subtract. No show players will receive the following:

1st Offense Removal of wins.

2nd Offense Removal of wins and a warning.

3rd Offense Removal of wins and placed in penalty box for 7 days.

Subs can start a round.

Bots can be used as subs

Thanks for making 4players pinochle the largest pinochle ladder, and I like to brag and say the best on Cases Ladder.

It is your responsibility to get to the tables to play. You have 3 minutes from the time the last pairings are posted to have the game started. If you need extra time between rounds private message the TD on duty and let them know. We will no longer private message you to get you to the tables, you will be dq'd from the tourney.

Remember when you sign up for a partners tourney that you are agreeing to play all rounds with that partner. One person can not be removed from a team. In Swiss if you wish you be removed make sure you have discussed it with your partner and they agree.
